Wordplay - Watch The Trailer

"Wordplay" is a documentary about crossword puzzles and the people who create them and those who solve them. Crossword puzzles have been a national obsession since the first one was printed in a newspaper almost 100 years ago. Simon & Shuster built a publishing empire thanks to the success of their first publication- a book of crossword puzzles. "Wordplay" brings together such luminaries as Bill Clinton, Jon Stewart (The Daily Show) and Will Shortz (puzzle editor at The New York Times). The film has been a hit on the festival circuit. It combines interviews as well as footage from the annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, and is an often humorous look at a pastime that many take very seriously indeed.
