First you take a picture then you take a jigsaw and you cut tiny... Stop! Nowadays, you take a picture and then you take Tibo Software's wonderful Jigs@w® program and make jigsaw puzzles with a few clicks of a mouse button. No more having to turn over the pieces. No more puzzle pieces gone missing. No more cluttered dining room tables.
What's more, if you're tired of doing jigsaw puzzles of German castles or kittens in knitting baskets, why not take a favorite photo or a picture that your daughter drew (as I did), convert it into a jigsaw puzzle and place it on your Web site. It's fast and easy and the results are spectacular.
| How It Works |
Here's a screen shot of how the puzzle will appear on your computer once it is downloaded and opened. Clicking on the 'All About Puzzles' logo in the top bar will return you to my site. At the bottom of the work area is a link to Tibo Software (not visible in this screen shot).
To move a puzzle piece:
Select a piece by clicking on it with the LEFT mouse button.
Position it.
Drop it in place by clicking again with the LEFT mouse button.
If it's correctly placed, the pieces will lock together.
To rotate a puzzle piece:
Select a piece by clicking on it with the LEFT mouse button.
When selected the piece will rotate 90 degrees each time you click the RIGHT mouse button
To deselect the piece, simply click the LEFT mouse button.
Also on the work area is a menu module and an image viewer as described below.
Menu Module
Picture: Displays a picture of the completed puzzle (see example below).
Minimize: Minimizes the window on your computer screen.
Exit: Closes the program.
Image Viewer
The image viewer has five graduated buttons which allow you to increase and decrease the size of the picture. To minimize or close the image viewer, click on the arrow or the X in the top right-hand corner.
Note: You can reposition the image viewer or the menu module by clicking and dragging the top blue portion.
