Leatherback Sea Turtle Jigsaw PuzzleThis is a female leatherback about to lay a clutch of 70-80 eggs (they look like cue balls). Afterwards, she will move around massive amounts of sand in an atempt to conceal the nest. The leatherback is a true pelagic turtle which can be found in all the oceans of the world including the Arctic. Unfortunately, even though they predate dinosaurs, their numbers are dwindling and they are now considered an endangered species.
