Olive Ridley Sea Turtle Jigsaw PuzzleThis is a mature female Olive Ridley, the most common turtle on the Pacific coast. Conservation efforts in the last 25 years have greatly increased their numbers and, though poaching is still a problem, they are no longer a major food source for the rural populations of coastal Mexico. Unfortunately, they still face many challenges to their survival including fishing nets, ocean pollution (plastics) as well as destruction of their nesting sites.
