High-flying Crossword Puzzles
US Air Force Puzzled
Thanks to First Lt. Tony Wickman, crossword puzzles will now be available through the Air Force News Agency for use by Air Force public affairs offices worldwide. Wickman, stationed with Alaskan Command, began creating military-themed crossword puzzles as an experiment. He is now producing crosswords for Air Force News.
Master Sgt. Terry Somerville, an Air Force newspaper consultant, said he wants to make sure every Air Force newspaper knows about them. They may encourage people who might not normally pick up the paper to do so, and may even keep newspapers hanging around the offices longer.
