They're not lottery winners, but they did hit a jackpot. They solved the clues in a kids book, and found a hidden treasure. The hero of "A Treasure's Trove" is a dog, but the real hero is an eleven-year-old boy and his dad. They're now the proud owners of a sparkly spider worth $450,000.
Stone and his son, Todd, went treasure-hunting in the pages of the children's book. The author hid twelve bejeweled creatures around the country and gave clues where to find them in the text. A Treasure's Trove is supposed to be easy enough for a kid to figure out.
