Sam Loyd believed that puzzles not only keep the mind fresh and alert but are an activity that young and old can enjoy. He once said that, "Puzzles sharpen the wits. I think you will find that the boys and girls who are best at solving puzzles are usually the brightest and most quick-witted." He and Sam Loyd Jr. left behind an incredible legacy and their puzzles continue to be enjoyed by people all over the world.
