6x6 KenKen Grid

Example of a KenKen puzzle

Definition: KenKen is a logic puzzle involving mathematical operations. As in SuDoku, the goal is to fill a grid (ranging in size from 3x3 to 9x9) with digits so that no digit appears more than once in any row or column. There are no blocks in KenKen puzzles as there are in SuDoku puzzles. Instead, KenKen grids are divided into 'cages' and the numbers in the cells of each cage must produce a 'target number' when combined using a specified mathematical operation.
