Sequential Movement Puzzles

The Fifteen Puzzle, a type of sliding block puzzle.

Definition: A sequential movement puzzle is a mechanical puzzle which requires a repeated manipulation of the puzzle pieces to achieve a target condition, such as having all like color pieces together or all numbers in sequence. Examples of sequential movement puzzles are the Rubik's Cube, the Towers of Hanoi and sliding block puzzles.
