The intriguing rock formations in the higher altitudes of the Copper Canyon are suggestive of plants, animals and humans. We saw turtles, elephants, toadstools (pictured) and even some that looked like rocks! Also, numerous caves dot the landscape many of which are inhabited by the local Tarahumari.
