Using the clues, enter one of the word fragments (from the syllabary below) in each of the 32 boxes to form 8 four-syllable words. Each word fragment is used only once. When complete the letters in the two diagonal flights of stairs (shaded cells) will spell out a topical subject. I've entered one fragment to start you off.
A Pyramid Puzzle is a word game, so named because the solution words are stacked one on top of each other (from shortest to longest) to resemble a pyramid. The topmost (shortest) solution word is anagrammed with one letter added to determine the next answer. Another letter is added and anagrammed for the third answer, and so on.
